RoHS & REACH for PCB Export

How RoHS and REACH expectations apply to PCB fabrication for EU-bound electronics, and what documents Inorsen provides for compliance reviews.

What EU buyers usually ask

For products placed on the EU market, OEMs need material declarations covering restricted substances (RoHS) and may request REACH SVHC statements for articles. PCB fabricators support this with material COCs, laminate datasheets, and process controls—not as a substitute for the OEM's full product compliance file.

How we support documentation

On request we provide RoHS/REACH-related declarations tied to the materials and finishes used on your order, plus UL/ISO certificates for the producing site. Specify halogen-free or special finishes early so purchasing and process engineering select qualified materials.

Design choices that affect compliance

Surface finishes, solder mask, and laminate families differ in substance profiles. If your customer mandates a specific finish or halogen-free stack, put it in the fab notes and RFQ so quotes and CAM reflect the constrained material set.

Talk to engineering

Share your customer's compliance checklist with our technical sales team during NPI. We align factory, materials, and paperwork before mass production to avoid late surprises on EU shipments.
